LJMU welcome students from across the country to explore all aspects of the university cycle, from an introduction to higher education, student finance, writing a personal statement and exploring how to apply for in demand subjects. We are also running a session to answer any questions parents may have about university.
Each session is followed by a question and answer session with key university staff, as well as members of our outreach team.
LJMU’s Applying for Competitive Courses Webinar – 9 October – 12pm
With the competition for university places becoming tougher each year, the need for a strong UCAS personal statement is a crucial part of a student’s application. Insight into personal statement guidance on competitive courses such as Midwifery, Law and Nursing is included.
LJMU’s University Interview Techniques – 12 October – 4pm
Want to know how to succeed at University interviews? This helpful webinar will let you know the do’s and don’ts for a university interview. It’ll cover how best to prepare, what to expect and the questions you’re likely to be asked.
LJMU’s Student Finance and Budgeting at University – 13 October 2020 – 5pm
Dispelling the myths surrounding student funding and highlighting the support packages available, the aim of this presentation is to make student finance as clear as possible. Followed by a live Q&A with the LJMU Outreach Team.
LJMU’s Ask a Student: Discover our Faculties – 14 October – 4.30pm
Ask an LJMU student questions about their University experience, and how they found the transition for Higher Education. This session will incorporate a discussion on the 5 different faculties within LJMU. Followed by a Q&A with the LJMU Outreach team and current LJMU students.
