Wednesday 2nd December – Signed Christmas Carols
Join us and watch our staff and students sign some well known Christmas carols using British Sign Language (BSL). Amanda Smith will lead the event. She is a Senior lecturer on our Deaf Studies course and has been teaching BSL for 20 years.
Wednesday 2nd December – Personal Statement Workshop
Come and join Alex, an admissions officer, to get advice on writing a personal statement. He will give you top tips for thing to include and things to avoid. It’s the perfect event if you are applying to university.

Jamie, our Students’ Union President is hosting a quiz for those considering applying to York St John University. It is time to test your knowledge and have some festive fun.
Monday 7th December – Mindfulness and Wellbeing Session
Join Reverend Jane Speck for a relaxing and unwinding session on mindfulness and wellbeing.
Monday 7th December – Christmas Craft Workshop
Get your gluesticks, your pencils and your imagination. It’s time to make a chocolate bar reindeer, penguin or snowman gift. We will guide you through step by step and in the end, you will have a lovely chocolatey gift to give to a friend or family member.
Thursday 10th December – Ask a Student Ambassador
Speak to our current students and find out what university life is like.
Thursday 10th December – York St John Christmas Carol Service
Grab a mince pie and sing along to your favourite carols and hymns.
Saturday 12th December – Festive Baking Workshop
